Citizens Rights and Protection Committee and St. John’s Bala Janaagraha students took out and awareness rally against terrorism

and the ghastly in-human attack on the Amarnath Yatra pilgrims. Those who spoke on the occasion were Mr Marshal Jadhav, Mr. Ashfaque Ali – CRPC –President and Fr. Peter Dominic Principal of St. John’s High School. Students and members of CRPC protested against extremism. Terrorism has no place in any religion – the speakers said.

Article Published For Celebrating Annual Parents Day:

St. John’s High School celebrated the Annual Parent’s Day on 16 th December 2017. The theme of the programme was on ‘Navrasa’ and the programme was titled ‘Expressions’ (The mystery of life). The programme started with the report of Rev. Fr. Peter Dominic, Principal. He gave details about students academic, curricular and co-curricular excellent performance. Students scaled great heights in this academic year. The students from different classes presented their performances on the Navrasas (namely Adbhut Rasa, Vaatsalya Rasa, Hasya Rasa, Shringar Rasa,Veer Rasa, Rowdram Rasa, Bhayanak Rasa, Shanti Rasa and Bhakti Rasa).

The performances emphasized that our emotions transform this world of appearance into the more intimate world of sentiments. The essence of our life includes all the gestures in the form of Navrasas. The first expression was Adbhut Rasa – explaining wonder and curiosity. It was followed by Vaatsalya Rasa – selfless love resides in a mother’s heart. Hasya Rasa explained laughter is highly infectious and blessed are those who have the knack of making others laugh. Shringaar Rasa explained that it is from nature that man has adopted the quality of enhancing beauty. Veer Rasa explained heroism. It represented bravery and self-confidence. The performance depicted the boldness in battle, the attitude with which martyrs go to war and the valour with which they die. Rowdram Rasa encompassed divine fury of the nature. Little Shivas in their anger warned everyone not to outrage over audacious behaviour and disrespect nature. Bhayanak Rasa explained fear of the unknown and man’s constant struggle against fear. Shanti Rasa represented state of calmness.

The preachers of divine truth created an ambience of meditation and bestowed ultimate peace on stage. Bhakti Rasa guided the audience to the path of spirituality with love and devotion. Finally the scintillating finale was performed which summed up all the nine Rasas into it.

The entire show was very impressive and heart throbbing. The programme ended with the singing of National Anthem. The Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Jerome Pinto – Vicar General, Archdiocese of Nagpur spoke highly of the achievements of St. John’s School and its students. The guest of honour Dr. Milind Mane – MLA praised the performance of the students and also the service rendered by MSFS fathers to the field of Education in Nagpur. Other guest of honour Mr. Anil Pardhi – Dy. Director of Education praised the staff and management for putting up such a wonderful show.Rev. Fr. Kulandai Raj, Rev. Fr. Peter Dominic, Rev. Fr. Patras Tirkey, Rev. Fr. Telesfore, Sr. Bernadette graced the programme. Almost 5000 parents , guardians and well wishers viewed the programme with enthusiasm.
